Hi Nanna is a crucial film for Nani for many reasons. It’s coming right after Dasara, the biggest success of his career, and expectations are huge from the star to deliver another hit. Regardless of commercial success or failure, consistency has been the hallmark of Nani’s career and going by the promos, one can be sure that another minimum-guarantee fare is on our way with Hi Nanna.
The emotional drama marks the directorial debut of Shouryuv, bringing together Nani and Mrunal Thakur together on the screen for the first time. Shruti Haasan, Niharika Konidela, Baby Kiara Khanna too play crucial roles in the film produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM - earlier associated with Mythri Movie Makers) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala under Vyra Entertainments.
The makers have already confirmed that the film will release in theatres on December 21, clashing with two other biggies like Extra Ordinary Man, Saindhav in the same weekend. Hesham Abdul Wahab, who scored the music for Kushi, is also associated with the film. A brief promo of the film was shared today, hinting at the launch of the first single in the coming days.

Are you ready?” the makers wrote. T Series has acquired the audio rights while Ananth Sriram, Krishna Kanth are the lyricists.
Bosco Martis and Vishwa Raghu are the choreographers for the film. Sanu John Varughese is the cinematographer and the crew also comprises editor Praveen Anthony and production designer Avinash Kolla. Hi Nanna will release in theatres worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Hesham Abdul Wahab has another Telugu release this year - the multilingual Spark.
