Hey Sinamika: First look and release date of Dulquer Salmaan’s film released

Mollywood heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan is set to steal hearts yet again with his upcoming film Hey Sinamika.

The star’s first look from the film along with the release date were unveiled today.

The actor took to social media to share the colourful poster where he features in several avatars, each in different eye-popping outfits. From a zealous cyclist to a groovy DJ to a sunglasses wearing hipster, these are just a few of the personas the star seems to take up. The poster also reveals that the film will be released in theatres on February 25,2022.

Hey Sinamika is directed by popular choreographer Brinda, marking her directorial debut. The script is by Madhan Karky of Enthiran-fame as writer, while the soundtrack is composed by Govind Vasantha. Preetha Jayaraman is the cinematographer.

Hey Sinamika will tell the story of a woman, married for five years, who decides to leave her husband due to his finicky nature.

The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari. They are joined by K Bhagyaraj, Suhasini Mani Ratnam and Khushbu Sundar in pivotal roles.

Dulquer was last seen in the crime thriller Kurup, which traced the story of one of the most wanted men in Kerala, Sukumara Kurup. The actor is also working on a Hindi film, titled Chup, helmed by R Balki.
