Tiger Shroff-Tara Sutaria-Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Heropanti 2 opened to very low Box Office. This is Tiger’s second lowest film after A Flying Jatt in terms of Box Office. Moreso, Heropanti 2 saw the lowest viewers for a Tiger film, further contributing to the poor Box Office of this movie.

Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti 2 has opened to Rs. 6.50 crores, according to Box Office India. This is one of the lowest Box Office collections seen since the post-pandemic era. The movie beat even Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey (also NGE film) in that case.

Not just Bachchhan Paandey, Heropanti 2 has come close to Tiger’s debacle film A Flying Jatt (2016)’s Box Office. The movie was declared a flop by critics and viewers and it did not work at the Box Office either.

Since Heropanti is a franchise and it introduced Tiger Shroff to the world, his fans had booked the movie in advance. While they were excited during the initial buzz, it all fizzled out once the film actually released in theatres.

Action films usually witness a growth with word-of-mouth but it is highly unlikely for Heropanti 2 to see any growth since the word-of-mouth of the film is also poor. Opening day is also usually crucial for such movies since it makes up for the maximum Box Office in the coming days. Of course, Heropanti 2 did not have a Box Office opening as expected and thus, there is very little hope for this film.

Heropanti 2 has worked only slightly in mass centres but very few have gone to multiplexes to view the film. However, Tiger’s movie isn’t the only that suffered. Ajay Devgn-Amitabh Bachchan-Rakul Preet Singh’s Runway 34 is also not working at the Box Office as expected.

Both the Hindi films are currently facing tough competition from Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2. It definitely appears that Bollywood has a sad Eid this year.
