Vidaa Muyarchi, starring actor Ajith Kumar, is undoubtedly one of the most expected films from the Tamil film industry. Not only it is headlined by one of the top stars, but also because the makers have remained tight-lipped about the film’s progress. While there are speculations that the film has been dropped, a new making video from the sets of Vidaa Muyarchi was released on Thursday, which showed Ajith Kumar and his co-star Arav meeting with an accident while doing a car chase sequence.
Speaking to Vikatan, Ajith's publicity manager Suresh Chandra revealed the reason why they released the footage. At the same time, as per speculations, it is expected that the makers will drop the first look of the film on May 1 for the occasion of Ajith’s birthday.
Why release Vidaa Muyarchi footage
On Thursday, a new footage from the making of the film was released. Filmed in November last year, it showed Arav and Ajith (on the driver’s seat) performing a car sequence. As the vehicle is seen drifting, Ajith loses control of the vehicle as it topples.
Speaking to Vikatan, Suresh has said that they released the new footage after reports began to emerge that the film has been dropped. With the team not taking the news well, they decided to release the footage. The shooting of Vidaa Muyarchi has been completed 60 percent and will resume after Anirudh delivers the songs.
Vidaa Muyarchi first look on May 1?
It is expected that the team will launch the first look on May 1, for the occasion of Ajith’s birthday. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaa Muyarchi is touted to be an action thriller and is backed by Lyca Productions. Vidaa Muyarchi will have Trisha Krishnan play the female lead and also stars Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav in other pivotal roles. Nirav Shah is the director of photography. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
