Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, directed by S Shankar, is now expected to be released in theatres in the second week of June

Kamal Haasan and S Shankar’s ambitious project Indian 2 is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated films of 2024. While it has been in the making for a while, the makers had only recently revealed that the film will be hitting the big screens in June, 2024. The latest is that the film has been scheduled to hit the big screens in the second week of June.
It turns out that the film’s graphics work is taking longer than expected. The VFX work is being handled by Lola Visual Effects, who have been carefully analysing the output before submitting the final draft. According to the makers, the graphic work for the film will be over by the second week of May. If everything goes as planned, fans can expect to watch Kamal Haasan's sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian in June.
Recently, it was revealed that streaming platform Netflix had bagged the digital rights to Kamal Haasan's Indian 2. You will be able to watch the movie in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi after it finishes its theatrical run.
The first intro video of the vigilante action film sequel received praise from viewers for its exemplary production and cast. According to reports, it has been speculated that there will be another Indian film that will be released this year itself. An official announcement about the same is awaited.

Indian 2 has an ensemble cast of Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, Manobala, Vennela Kishore and Deepa Shankar, among others. The movie sure has piqued the interest of audiences who cannot wait to watch their ‘Senapathy’ back on screen.
The sequel to Indian, Indian 2, is produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The movie’s cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman and Rathnavelu and it is edited by A Sreekar Prasad.
