Suresh Gopi appears in a double role as Navneeth Krishnan aka Kishanji and Anantha Krishnan aka Ananthu in Randam Bhavam. Meesa Madhavan-fame Ranjan Pramod has penned the screenplay for this film, which was released in theatres on September 28, 2001. The crime drama is the third directorial of Lal Jose, following Oru Maravathoor Kanavu and Chandranudikkunna Dikkil.
The soundtracks of Randam Bhavam were well received, but the movie failed to perform well at the box office. The song Marannittumenthino continues to be a favourite among Keralites because of its several reprises on social media. But after the movie was made available on DVD and began to air on television, its popularity soared.
Biju Menon, Lal, Poornima Indrajith, Lena, Nedumudi Venu and Narendra Prasad are among the supporting cast of the film. K Mohanan bankrolled this movie under the banner of Seven Arts Mohan. Vidyasagar composed the songs in Randam Bhavam.

Plot of Randam Bhavam
Due to his harsh father, Navaneeth Krishnan, also known as Kishanji, fled his home when he was a teenager and joined the gangs in Mangalore. In the meantime, Ananthakrishnan, also known as Ananthu, Kishan's identical twin brother, is a learned and moral person.
Ananthu is killed by some goons during an unexpected attack on Kishan. He is soon compelled to step in for his late brother. The main plot of the movie revolves around his transformation into a better person and his escape from the clutches of his previous life in Mangalore.
