The film directed by Anish R Krishna is slated to hit theatres on September 23

Naga Shaurya, who appeared in the romance Varudu Kavalenu and the sports drama Lakshya, is in need of a big hit to lend momentum to his career. He's pinning all his hopes on Krishna Vrinda Vihari, a film in his pet genre, rom-com, helmed by Ala Ela, Lover and Gaali Sampath director Anish R Krishna. Shirley Setia is cast as the female lead in the light-hearted entertainer which is set to hit theatres on September 23. Usha Mulpuri (Naga Shaurya's mom) has bankrolled the film under Ira Creations.
The film was to have a theatrical release in May but was postponed due to miscellaneous reasons best known to the makers. Today, the team has announced the launch date of the film's theatrical trailer. The trailer will be unveiled on September 10 and is expected to provide a clearer idea of the film's plot. Radhika Sarathkumar too plays an important role in the film that comprises Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Satya, Brahmaji and others in its supporting cast.
Mahati Swara Sagar has composed the music while the songs and the teaser have ensured good buzz for the film in the lead up to its release. The composer gave one of the best musical hits in Naga Shaurya's career with Chalo, with the number Choosi Chudangane, sung by Anurag Kulkarni, breaking all records on Youtube. Sai Sriram is the cinematographer of the entertainer with Tammiraju editing the film. Shankar Prasad Mulpuri is the presenter of the same and Ram Kumar is the art director.
Noted audio label Saregama has acquired the music rights of Krishna Vrinda Vihari. Shirley Setia, the film's female lead, is also a popular singer, who made her on-screen debut with the Netflix original Maska. Her first feature film was Nikamma alongside Abhimanyu Dassani, the Hindi remake of Nani's Middle Class Abbayi, that's also streaming on Netflix. Radhika Sarathkumar was also seen in another direct Telugu film this year - Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu, available to watch on SonyLIV.
