Silambarasan or STR is once again planning a surprise for his fans. The actor was seen yesterday in a Chennai Super Kings jersey adorned with his name at a recording studio and it only took hours for his excited fans to start hopeful rumours about a new project. The Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya actor even teased his fans asking if they have any “guesses” or clues about his next role.
Without further ado, today, Vels Film International has come up with the announcement of a project with Silambarasan and fans have gone wild over their tweet. The movie will be produced by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh, managing director of the famous Vels Group of Educational Institutions. This will mark the 48th movie of Silambarasan. Other details such as direction and cast are yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, Silambarasan will also start shooting for his next film, Corona Kumar, directed by Gokul. The details of the film will be announced on Sunday, at a pre-match event of the IPL which will host a match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
Unfortunately, the actor has been having a bad streak with his movies. His last movie Eeswaran starring him as a villager harbouring a secret ended up as a box office disaster. The actor is surely looking to make up for it with his new movie. The actor is also waiting for the release of his completed movie Maanadu. The film is slated for release on November 4.
