Here's when Ajay Devgn will kickstart the shoot for Neeraj Pandey's romantic thriller and Rohit Shetty's Singham 3

All signs point to 2022 being a busy year for Ajay Devgn. He released three movies, including Runway 34, Thank God, and Drishyam 2, and made his web debut with Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. Now, the actor will begin 2023 with the release of Maidaan in February, followed by Bholaa, his directorial next. The actor won't enter the set until March at the earliest. Devgn, who announced his first partnership with Neeraj Pandey in October, will begin the romantic thriller at the end of the first quarter, according to mid-day.

A source told the tabloid that Ajay has to shoot a lot of Neeraj's movie in one sitting because he will have a unique role in it. Jimmy Sheirgill plays a crucial part in the film, but the starring lady has not yet been chosen.

One might remember that Devgn revealed in 2018 that he would collaborate with Pandey on Chanakya. However, the director came up with another idea that would honour the icon when the socio-political drama was shelved in the following years. The yet-untitled romantic thriller will be followed by another project.

According to reports, Rohit Shetty will start his eagerly anticipated Singham 3 in April.

A source told the tabloid that 2022 saw the director working hard on projects for Cirkus and the Indian Police Force. He will concentrate on Singham, the film series that served as the foundation for his cop universe, starting in 2019. Ajay will try to finish Neeraj's movie before reprising his Bajirao Singham character as an honourable cop.

The source goes on to say that Devgn and Drishyam producer Kumar Mangat Pathak are also in talks for a movie. If Ajay approves, he might start shooting in January before starting his films with Neeraj and Rohit.

Ajay announced the release date of Bholaa as March 30, 2022.
