Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s highly anticipated film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is currently gearing up for its release. On March 26, the makers shared an intriguing trailer for the upcoming action-thriller that hyped up expectations. Recently, Akshay shared how Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is similar to Hollywood’s popular buddy cop film Bad Boys.
The lead actors, Akshay and Tiger, are leaving no stone unturned for its promotion as the movie inches closer to its theatrical release on April 10. From captivating IPL opening performances to promotional events across the country – Akshay and Tiger’s magical duo is stirring waves of excitement. During the trailer launch event, Akshay shared that his film BMCM is similar to Will Smith’s buddy cop because it has sufficient action and subtle comedy. Coincidently, both movies released their trailers on the same date.
"So we always knew that the film was going to be just like Bad Boys. You know, I'm not saying the story is the same, but it will be like Bad Boys because the film has lots of action and a very subtle kind of comedy," Akshay shared at the trailer event.
About Bade Miyan Chote Miyan
During the same event, Akshay was asked if he knew about the film’s story to be a combination of action and comedy. He revealed that he somewhat had an idea that the movie was similar to Bad Boys due to the same genre, but he was “completely bowled over” after he got the script from Zafar. It later praised the film’s unique narrative along with the talented villain Prithviraj Sukumaran, with whom the Akshay-Tiger duo would fight in the movie.
