The reality show, Hunarbaaz: Desh ki Shaan had its grand finale and the event did reflect 'Desh ki Shaan' as it was a grand celebration with all fervour and zeal by the contestants, judges and some special guests. The grand finale declared Akash Singh as the winner of the show. But it was not all about just the winner. The finale included performances by the judges, Karan Johar, Mithun Chakraborty and Parineeti Chopra, and special guests as well.
Singh won the trophy and cash prize of Rs 15 lakh on the show, hosted by Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa. According to Indian Express, Akash Singh after winning the trophy said in his statement that he is speechless and unable to find words to express his joy. He said he feels surreal and thanked the judges, friends and family for their support throughout the show. "I had started my journey on the show with a dream to make it big and today after winning the show, I have fulfilled every bit of it," he said.
The finale was all about entertainment and presenting talent. Parineeti Chopra, who made her TV debut with season one of the reality show, took everybody's breath away with her mesmerising performance. She sang Teri Mitti from the film, Kesari and the evergreen song by Lata Mangeshkar, Lag Jaa Gale. There was a pleasant surprise by the judge Karan Johar as well as he danced to songs from his films, Maahi Ve and Bole Chudiyaan. The event was graced by the presence of special guests and judges of the upcoming show, Dance Deewane Juniors including Neetu Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Marzi Pestonji and host Karan Kundrra. Neetu Kapoor joined Karan Johar to shake a leg on Alia Bhatt's songs Radha and Dholida when the hosts Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa took the opportunity to also celebrate the wedding of Bhatt with actor and Neetu's son Ranbir Kapoor.
