Akshay Kumar’s upcoming filmography remains extensive, but one of the most anticipated projects is Bhoot Bangla. The excitement is high as the actor reunites with Priyadarshan after over a decade, having previously delivered iconic hits like Hera Pheri. Adding to the buzz, Tabu has joined the cast, marking her collaboration with Akshay after 25 years, making this reunion a major highlight.

The duo last appeared in classics like Hera Pheri and Tu Chor Main Sipahi, and their reunion promises to be a treat for fans. 

The makers recently shared a heartwarming picture of Akshay hugging Tabu on the Jaipur sets, captioning it, “Some things get better and iconic with time! @priyadarshan.official, @akshaykumar, and @tabutiful are back in action after 25 years for #BhootBangla in Jaipur.”

About Bhoot Bangla

The film also reunites the iconic trio of director Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar, and Tabu, whose previous collaboration was the cult comedy Hera Pheri. This stellar combination has raised expectations for the project, which promises an engaging storyline and exceptional performances.

Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhoot Bangla is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, along with Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films. Co-produced by Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali, the story is penned by Akash A Kaushik, with a screenplay by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan, and dialogues by Rohan Shankar. Bhoot Bangla is set to release theatrically on April 2, 2026.
