Her is a sci-fi human drama where a man named Theodore, lonely and craving connection, forms a bond with an operating system (OS) that responds to him and obeys his commands. As their conversation deepens, Theodore falls in love with the OS, voiced by Scarlett Johansson, without realizing that it can never fully enter his life as a human. Her is one of the most beloved Joaquin Phoenix movies and is now coming to Lionsgate Play.

Lionsgate Play has released some of the most intriguing movies in the last two months. The streamer has brought us Room, Logan Lucky, The Arcadian, Replicas, Adrift, and The Iron Law. Before that, there was Dream Scenario, Copshop, BME, American Hustle, and much more, all featuring big stars and potent content. Her now joins this list and is set to release on the streaming platform.

As we inch closer to the release date of Joker: Folie à Deux—October 4, 2024, in the West, and October 2, 2024, in India—early predictions have started rolling in. According to Shawn Robbins on Box Office Theory, the movie is set to earn $150 million in the domestic market. These are massive numbers, considering the post-pandemic effects are still evident in ticket sales. It also tops the opening of the first Joker, which had a $96 million domestic opening and grew significantly afterward, with predictions suggesting an opening between $120 million and $150 million.
