Have Imran Khan and Lekha Washington gone public with their relationship?

Former actor and Aamir Khan's nephew Imran Khan hasn't been seen much in public since he quit films. A video uploaded by a paprazo of Imran attending an event on Sunday evening in Mumbai along with actor Lekha Washington has gone viral because, by the looks of it, the two seem to be in a relationship.

In the video, Imran is dressed in casuals, with his elaborate arm tattoo visible. As he makes his way through the gates, he is seen hand-in-hand with Lekha, who is sporting blue hair and a matching blue dress.

Netizens instantly began commenting that Imran looks "happy and chill", and many even said that they want Imran to return to films.

In 2011, Imran married Avantika Malik, his girlfriend. They welcomed their daughter, Imara, in 2014, and although neither has commented on it, the two parted ways in 2019. 

Rumors of Imran and Lekha dating began doing the rounds in 2021, but neither Imran nor Lekha have spoken about it. Avantika, meanwhile, is reportedly dating Sahib Singh Lamba.

Imran made his film debut as a leading man in the 2008 hit Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. He went on to act in films like I Hate Luv Storys, Delhi Belly, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. His last film was Katti Batti in 2015. 

Lekah had done a cameo in Imran's 2012 satirical black comedy Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, which also had Pankaj Kapur and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. She has predominantly worked in Tamil and Telugu films. She was last seen on the big screen in the 2015 Telugu film Dynamite. Lekha owns a product design company and recently launched her first line of products in a store in Mumbai.
