Anil Kapoor is one star who has always walked with the times. No wonder he is one of the most-followed stars on social media. But a few days ago, the evergreen actor had everyone worried. The reason? Well, all the posts in his social media account (Instagram, to be precise) had been deleted. While many were worried, there were a few who assumed that the ‘disappearing act’ was a strategy to announce the most eagerly awaited sequel to the cult film ‘Mr. India’. It turns out the deletion of Instagram posts was a teaser for an international brand of mobile phones. And speaking of things that are international, Anil Kapoor has now signed an international film.
The source-based news about Anil Kapoor signing an international film was reported in Pinkvilla. The film will reportedly be directed by Ritesh Batra, the filmmaker who had earlier directed the award-winning ‘The Lunchbox’. As for Anil Kapoor’s reported international film, it is being touted as a film whose premise is a mature romance between an Indian man and a French woman. The report stated that if all the things fall into place, the film may go on floors early next year. Anil Kapoor, who reportedly loved the script, has already given his nod to it.
Anil Kapoor has worked on a couple of international films so far. This includes the Oscar-winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire', which was released in 2008, and ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’, which was released in 2011. Anil Kapoor will be seen next alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in director Siddharth Anand's the eagerly awaited film ‘Fighter’.
Besides that, Anil Kapoor will also be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's ‘Animal’, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in leading roles. Besides these two, Anil Kapoor will also be seen in filmmaker Abhinay Deo's next film, which is so far untitled.
