In April this year, Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe and his girlfriend, actress Erin Darke, welcomed their first child together. The duo, however, refrained from revealing if they’d had a son or a daughter, until now. Speaking to Entertainment Today during the promotions of the latest season of his show Miracle Workers, Daniel finally opened up about their little bundle of joy and his new life as a father.

Revealing that they had a son, he had said, "It's great. It's crazy and intense, but he's wonderful and Erin is amazing -- it's a real privilege also to have this time with him. I was always going to take some time off, which not everyone is able to do, and so I'm able to kind of just be here with him a lot, which is lovely."

As a new parent, Daniel added that his work schedule will now be planned keeping the little one’s needs in mind. The 33-year-old actor said that he would want to spend as much time as possible with his child, but that a complete break from work would not be on the cards, but that he would definitely put the brakes on his career and slow down. He was looking at returning to work only by the end of the year, adding that he thinks he will miss his son when the time comes. "So, I will definitely be I think a bit more selective -- not more selective, I've always been selective, but I think I'll probably work a little bit less for the next few years,” he had said.

Meanwhile, the fourth season of Miracle Workers, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, comes out on July 10. The show is currently not available in India.
