Happy Father's Day 2023: My father is my living God, says Sanjay Gagnani | EXCLUSIVE

Sanjay Gagnani’s performance as Prithvi Malhotra in the show ‘Kundali Bhagya’ made him a household name. Besides this, he is also known for his acting prowess in shows like ‘Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera’, ‘Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein’, ‘Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka’ and many others. On the occasion of ‘Father’s Day’, Sanjay Gagnani spoke exclusively to OTTplay about his relationship with his father, amongst many other things.

When asked about what his father meant to him, Sanjay said, "My father is my inspiration. My idol. My living God. I learn a lot from him. Right from the way he has lived his life with ethics, loyalty towards work, and a positive approach is truly worth taking lessons from, to what he is today, each and every single day has been nothing less than being inspirational”.

Speaking about the lessons which he has learnt from his father, Sanjay said, "The best lesson I have learned from him is to never give up so easily on anything in life. One has to keep trying hard for what you want to achieve, and to have faith in yourself to reach your goals with hard work and dedication. I have learnt that there are no shortcuts to success. Always show up. Be the best in whatever you do and be associated only with the best. My father has taught me that it has to be the best in everything, nothing below it. He has also taught me to live my best life."

When we quizzed Sanjay about the qualities which he wants to replicate in himself from his father, the ‘ideal son’ replied, "I want to have ALL of my father’s qualities! He is full of good things, and he's the one whom I reach out to whenever I am going through a bad phase. Trust me his advice always works. So, if I could even succeed in getting a few good qualities from him, then my life would become much better."

On the professional front, Sanjay Gagnani is in ‘advanced talks’ for a couple of projects in the OTT space. The details of the same, he said, will be revealed in a few days from now.
