Apoorva Rao, Ajay Ghosh, Vishnu Oi, Jhansi play other crucial roles in the Kowshik Bheemidi directorial

Yash Puri, who made a mark with his performances in ZEE5’s web film Alanti Sitralu, the comedy Cheppalani Undhi and the recently released epic drama Shaakuntalam (both streaming on Amazon Prime Video), is gearing up for the release of another film. His next is titled Happy Ending, a light-hearted coming of age tale, directed by Kowshik Bheemidi. Apoorva Rao is cast as the female lead.
Yogesh Kumar, Sanjay Reddy, Anil Pallala are bankrolling the film under Hamstech Films and Silly Monks Studios. The makers kickstarted the promotional campaign recently, unveiling a series of posters from the film that have grabbed the eyeballs of film buffs. The teaser of the entertainer was launched today, offering a peek into the film’s premise.
The teaser starts with a school-going kid claiming that he’d watched something unique and asks his friend to do the same at a nearby theatre. While he’s initially surprised by the unusual ambience in the theatre, he watches the big screen with rapt attention. However, he’s seen rushing out of the theatre immediately and crosses paths with a Godman.
The Godman claims he was humiliated by the kid and how his restraint was tested. He curses the child that he would have nothing but restraint in his life. What is he exactly suggesting? You’ll know more when Happy Ending releases in theatres. The quirky premise certainly warrants your attention and it’ll be interesting to see the protagonist’s plight after the curse.
Ajay Ghosh, Vishnu Oi, Jhansi, Anitha Chowdhary, Harsh Roshan, Jiya Sharma play other important roles in the film. With music by Ravi Nidamarthy, the film has cinematography by Ashok Seepally and is edited by Pradeep R Moram. Naga Sai has written the screenplay and Lakshmi Priyanka is the sole lyricist. Arvind Mule is the production designer.
