Actor Vishal is celebrating his birthday today. On the big day, here's a look at some of his interesting films that are currently streaming on Sun NXT.

Aambala


Sundar C's action comedy featured an ensemble cast including Vishal, Hansika , Prabhu, Ramya Krishnan, Aishwarya, Kiran Rathod, Vaibhav Reddy, Santhanam, Sathish, to name a few. The plot revolves around three brothers who return to their hometown to help their father, who is trying to patch up with his sisters. praised. Music for the film is by Hiphop Tamizha. Aambala was bankrolled by Vishals's production house, Vishal's Film Factory

Chellamae


Chellamae marked Vishal's debut as lead actor. He shared screen space with Reema Sen, Bharath and Vivek in the film. Bharath played an obsessed teenager, who cannot see the newly married Vishal and Reema Sen together. The plot revolves around how the trio deal with the situation. The film was a massive hit and thus began Vishal's successful run at the box office.

Marudhu


Director M Muthaiah's film had Vishal in the titular role, who is a simple man who lives with his grandmother. When he gets embroiled in a conflict with a powerful local leader, life goes topsy turvy for Marudhu. Sri Divya played the leading lady in the film, marking her maiden collaboration with Vishal. The star cast also comprised Kullapuli Leela, Soori, RK Suresh, Radha Ravi to name a few. Music is by D Imman.

Sandakozhi


This action entertainer, directed by N Lingusamy, became one of the cult films in Vishal's career and was known for its racy action sequences and engaging storytelling. Vishal plays Balu who involuntarily gets into trouble with a local ruffian played by Lal. The star cast comprised Meera Jasmine, Rajkiran, Lal, Suman Shetty, Ganja Karuppu, to name a few. The film is considered a milestone in Vishal's career. A sequel to the film was eventually released in 2018, but it failed to make an impact.

Thimiru
In Tarun Gopi's Thimiru, Vishal plays a medical student named Ganesh, who helps Srimathy (Reema Sen) escape from goons. One of the highlights of the film was the flashback that starred Shriya Reddy as Eswari, who played a jilted lover and Vadivelu's comedy scenes as Warden Vallaran. The film, which was bankrolled by GK Film Corporation, became a super hit.
