It looks like a double treat for Vijay fans today on the occasion of Thalapathy Vijay's birthday. After the makers of his upcoming film Leo, dropped the first-look poster at 12am, they have now announced that the first single, Alter Ego, Naa Ready is all set to drop at 6.30pm today. The icing on the cake is that the single is sung by none other than Vijay himself.
The makers also dropped a poster, in which Vijay is seen surrounded by a pack of his fans. The team had earlier dropped a promo video of the peppy number, which is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his second collaboration with Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after Master. The song is touted to be a dance number with choreography by Master Dinesh.
Meanwhile, the first-look poster of the film is being compared to Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) from the popular series, Game of Thrones. In the poster, Vijay is seen in a fierce avatar with a hyena in tow, just like the fictional character in the fantasy series. Taking to his social media handle, the film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj wrote, "#LeoFirstLook is here! Happy Birthday @actorvijay anna! Elated to join hands with you again na! Have a blast! #HBDThalapathyVIJAY #Leo (sic)."
The team had earlier released the title track, Bloody Sweet, along with the title announcement of the film. The song, with lyrics by Heisenberg, is sung by Anirudh Ravichander and Siddharth Basrur.
The film has an ensemble star cast which includes Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Babu Antony, Janany Kunaseelan, George Maryan, Sandy Master to name a few. The shoot for the film is in full swing.
Leo is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and The Route. The film is likely to hit screens for Deepavali this year.
