For the occasion of actor Vijay's 50th birthday on Saturday, the makers of his upcoming film The GOAT- Greatest of All Time, released a small glimpse from the film, which has got fans further excited about the film. The GOAT is directed by filmmaker Venkat Prabhu.

The 50-second glimpse, titled The GOAT Bday Shots, begins with a chase scene happening somewhere in abroad, as we see a group of people chasing a duo on bike. Finally, we get to see the glimpse of who is the duo. It is none other than Vijay and his younger self. The glimpse ends with extending birthday wishes to Vijay, as we further see some quick shots from the film.
The GOAT is one of the most much-anticipated films from Tamil cinema right now. With only a few months left for the release, the expectations only keep building. The film might also mark Vijay's final leg of his acting career since he has announced his political entry earlier this year. From the looks of the glimpse, it is safe to assume that Vijay will appear in two avatars, older and younger version of his self.

The film has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The makers are also planning to released the second single from the song, Chinna Chinna Kangal, which is crooned by Vijay himself, along with late singer Bhavatharini.
The GOAT’s post theatrical rights are bagged by Netflix. It is bankrolled by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment banner. Cinematographer Siddhartha Nuni has cranked the camera and Venkat Raajen is the editor. Dilip Subbarayan has handled the stunts and Rajeevan is the production designer.
