Director Siva, whose Kanguva is one of the most awaited films of the year, recently celebrated his birthday on August 12. The ace filmmaker is known for his commercial potboilers like Siruthai and the Ajith Kumar films, Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam, Viswasam and Rajinikanth's Annaththe. His films are known to resonate with the audience as they are with family sentiments, emotions along with action. Here is a list of his films streaming on Sun NXT.

Annaatthe

Annaatthe marked Siva's maiden collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth. The plot revolves around Kaalaiyan, a sarpanch in a village in Tamil Nadu, who goes to great lengths to protect his sister Thanga Meenatchi (Keerthy Suresh) from all odds. The film has an ensemble cast just like all of Rajinikanth films. The film hit screens on Diwali, in 2021. Though the film, helmed by Sun Pictures, received negative reviews, it turned out to be a commercial success.

Veeram

Veeram (2014) revolves around a brave named Vinayagam (Ajith Kumar), who stands up against injustice in a village in Oddanchathram. He lives with his four brothers, played by Vidharth, Bala, Suhail Chandok and Munish. Tamannaah played the leading lady named Koppuren Devi. Meanwhile, when threat looms on Vinayagam's brothers, he leaves no stone unturned to save them. The film was a massive hit at the BO.

Vivegam

Vivegam (2017) features Ajith, Kajal Aggarwal, Vivek Oberoi and Akshara Haasan. The plot delves into an international spy AK, who is on a mission to stop a terrorist organization's plan. Vivegam, set in Slovenia, revolves around loyalty, friendship, and sacrifice. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, and the album went on to become a chartbuster, especially the songs Surviva and Thalai Viduthalai. Though the film opened to mixed reviews, it was a box office hit.
