It's actor Jayam Ravi's birthday today and the team of his upcoming film, Siren dropped a fierce first-look poster of the actor from the film. The actor is currently part of Siren, Genie and the soon-to-be-released Iraivan. Meanwhile, here's a look at five Jayam Ravi films that are currently streaming on Sun NXT.

Jayam


The romantic film marked the debut of Ravi and Sadha in Tamil and was directed by Mohan Raja. The film, which was a remake of the Telugu film, of the same name, became such a huge success that Ravi retained the film's title as a suffix to his name. The film also stars Tollywood actor Gopichand, who creates trouble for the couple. Jayam marked his one and only Tamil film till date.

M Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi


This sports dramedy, was helmed by Mohan Raja and marked the debut of Asin in Tamil. The film also marked the comeback of '80s star Nadiya Moidu, who played Jayam Ravi's mother in the film. The mother-son chemistry between Nadiya and Jayam Ravi was much loved by the audience. The film also delved into Jayam Ravi's chemistry with his estranged father, played by Prakash Raj.

Santhosh Subramaniam


Santhosh Subramaniam, directed by Mohan Raja, is a remake of the Telugu film Bommarillu. The film revolves around a young man whose overprotective father wants the best for him but never once asks for his likes or opinion on anything, making their relationship a claustrophobic one. But when the youngster falls in love with a free-spirited girl named Hasini (Genelia), he finally experiences a sense of freedom and joy.

Thani Oruvan


This action thriller, helmed by Mohan Raja, turned out to be one of the biggest grossers of 2015. The plot revolves around Mithran (Jayam Ravi), an efficient IPS officer, who is on a mission to expose Siddharth Abimanyu (Arvind Swami), an influential scientist and businessman, who is involved in illegal medical practices, which cost the lives of people. The film catapulted Jayam Ravi into a different league and Arvind Swami made a smashing comeback in films.

Unakkum Enakkum


Unakkum Enakkum...Something Something featured Jayam Ravi as Santhosh, son of a business tycoon in London. When he arrives in India for the wedding of his cousin, he falls for a village belle Kavitha (Trisha). But when her brother Muthupandi (Prabhu) suspects the sincerity of Santhosh and asks the young man to prove how much he loved her.
