Hanumankind and Anurag Kashyap, the popular rapper-singer and senior filmmaker, are set to make their Malayalam cinema debut with Rifle Club, directed by Aashiq Abu.

Hanumankind, the sensational rapper-turned-singer, and senior Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, are all set to share the screen soon. Rifle Club, the highly anticipated action-thriller film directed by Aashiq Abu will feature both the actor-singer, and the Gangs Of Wasseypur director in pivotal roles. Hanumankind is all set to make both his acting debut and entry into the Malayalam film industry with the film, which also marks the Malayalam debut of Anurag Kashyap.
As reported earlier, Rifle Club, directed by Aashiq Abu, is gearing up to have its theatrical release on December 19, 2024. The highly anticipated project is hitting the theatres as the first Malayalam film of the Christmas 2024 season. Hanumankind is making both his acting debut and Malayalam cinema debut with Rifle Club. The singer-rapper is playing the role of Bheera in the film, which features a massive star cast. Anurag Kashyap, on the other hand, is playing the lead antagonist, Dayanand Bare.
The Aashiq Abu directorial is jointly scripted by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, and Suhas. Along with Hanumankind and Anurag Kashyap, Rifle Club features a massive star cast including Dileesh Pothan, Unnimaya Prasad, Darshana Rajendran, Vijaya Raghavan, Suresh Krishna, Vani Viswanath, Ponnamma Babu, Surabhi Lakshmi, and others, in the pivotal roles. Rex Vijayan has composed the songs and the original score. Director Aashiq Abu himself handled the cinematography of the film, which is edited by V Saajan.
Ahead of Rifle Club’s release, Hanumankind has been making headlines lately with his Squid Game 2 music video, which has been titled ‘The Game Don’t Stop’. The popular singer-rapper is teaming up with talented Indian artists Kalmi and Parimal Shais for the special number, which is now winning the hearts of both music enthusiasts and cinephiles. For the uninitiated, Squid Game Season 2, the much-awaited second installment of the popular Korean drama, is set to have its premiere on Netflix on December 26, 2024.
