But there is a catch here. The digital release of Hanu Man will not happen until 60 days after its release which is rare for a Telugu film and that too a small film like HanuMan. Prashanth Varma has directed this film which has Teja Sajja as the main lead.
On the other hand, the makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers have bought the theatrical rights to the film for Rs 7.5 crores. This is a very big amount considering the market of Teja Sajja in Telugu states. He is a relatively new actor and does not have many hits under his belt. But the distributors have spent a bomb as they have confidence in director Prashanth Varma.
HanuMan will be released in multiple languages and is a superhero project. Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar plays one of the leads in this film which has been in the making for the last two years. HanuMan is set in the hilly town of Anjanadri revolving around an adventurous youngster played by Teja Sajja.
Tamil actor Vinay Rai is playing the main villain in this film which is being produced by K Niranjan Reddy under Primeshow Entertainment and presented by Chaitanya. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
