Hanu Man gets the backing of Pushpa producers, all set to take on Guntur Kaaram on Jan 12, 2024

Hanu Man is a film that has become a hot topic of discussion. It is all set to hit screens on January 12, 2024. As it is releasing alongside Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram on the same date, there was a lot of pressure on the makers to back out of the release race. But the young team of Prashanth Varma did not bow down and decided to come on January 12, as they had locked the date a long time ago.

Ever since the trailer caught the imagination of many, the makers have been super confident about their project. Now, things have gone to the next level as none other than the makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, have bought the theatrical rights to the film for a whopping Rs 7.5 crore.

This is a very big amount considering the market for Teja Sajja in Telugu states. He is a relatively new actor and does not have many hits under his belt. But the distributors have spent a bomb, as they have pinned hopes on director Prashanth Varma.

The young director is known to make some really different films and has set up Hanu Man as the first-ever superhero film in Telugu. Mythri Movie Makers is planning a special release in the city of Hyderabad and will hold special shows just like they did for Salaar. 

On the other hand, Dil Raju is releasing Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram and now the media is stating these releases as Dil Raju vs Mythri Movie Makers war at the theatres. We need to see if a small film like Hanu Man will hold its fort in front of a major star like Mahesh Babu.

Hanu Man is set in the hilly town of Anjanadri, revolving around an adventurous youngster played by Teja Sajja. Tamil actor Vinay Rai is playing the main villain in this film, which is being produced by K Niranjan Reddy under Primeshow Entertainment and presented by Chaitanya.
