Actress Hansika Motwani has criticized a section of the media for allegedly misreporting a quote that she claims she never made. Taking to social media, the actress expressed her frustration and urged publications to fact-check before publishing random news pieces.
"Publications urging you to cross check before picking up random news piece! Never made this comment that's doing the rounds. Please fact check before publishing blindly," Hansika wrote in a statement.

The actress's response comes amid recent reports about her discussing her experience with the casting couch in the Telugu film industry.
According to the report, Hansika supposedly revealed that a young male actor persistently asked her out on dates, making her feel uncomfortable during the early days of her career. However, she refused to disclose his name but responded to his advances firmly.
"Have not given this quote ever! Stop printing rubbish!" Hansika further added, dismissing the alleged comments.
On the professional front, Hansika Motwani was last seen in the film Maha. Directed by U.R. Jameel and produced by Mathi Azhagan under Etcetera Entertainment, the movie also featured Srikanth, Manasvi Kottachi, Sujith Shankar, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, and a special cameo appearance by Tamil star Simbu. However, Maha received a lukewarm response both critically and commercially.
Despite the setback, Hansika has a lineup of movies in the pipeline, including Partner, 105 Minutes, My Name is Shruthi, Rowdy Baby, Guardian, Gandhari, and Man.
In December of last year, Hansika tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, businessman Sohail Khaturiya, in a lavish wedding ceremony at Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur.
