Hansika, whose wedding will be streamed as a special docu-series in Disney+ Hotstar shortly, is also gearing up for her first theatrical release post marriage. Her next feature film is One Not Five Minuttess, a one-of-a-kind psychological thriller, which is also a single shot flick featuring a single character. Written and directed by Raju Dussa, the film produced by Bommak Shiva under Rudransh Celluloids, has wrapped up all post-production formalities and is set for release in theatres.
With the first copy ready, the makers plan to unveil the trailer of One Not Five Minuttess shortly. For the unitiated, it is the world’s first movie filmed in single shot with single character. Spanning a little over 100 minutes, there was immense planning to ensure a hassle-free execution of the film. Bird Man and 1917 were among other films that were single shot attempts in the past, though they had multiple characters (unlike One Not Five Minuttess with only one character).
The team promises a unique, compelling ride for audiences with minimal dialogues and a razor sharp screenplay. One Not Five Minuttess was filmed live sans any green mat and CG work. With perfect coordination between the director Raju Dussa and cinematographer Kishore Boyidapu, the execution was seamless and the makers are thrilled with the final output and feel it’ll be a benchmark on the technical front.
One Not Five Minuttess unit is confident that the film will be remembered as the best in Hansika’s career, while also lauding Sam CS for his impressive music score, contributing to the tension in the film. Cinematographer Kishore Boyidapu reportedly used new lighting techniques for the same. Shyam Vadavalli is the editor and Brahma Kadali is the production designer respectively.
