Lakshya made his Bollywood debut with Nikhil Nagesh Bhat's action thriller film, Kill. The actor earned appreciation for his impressive performance in the film, backed by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga. After unleashing his action avatar in Kill, Lakshya is reportedly ready to attempt a new action film. He is likely to be a part of filmmaker Hansal Mehta's upcoming action-packed movie. It is expected to be a theatrical release.
Director Hansal Mehta, who is known for making socially relevant stories and biopics, is reportedly venturing into uncharted territory with his next film. His upcoming movie might be an actioner. "As a storyteller, Hansal Mehta has always been interested in different [content] spaces. He is excited about taking up an action film with his next, which will be a theatrical release," a source told Mid-Day.
While the casting is underway, the makers are keen to have Kill actor Lakshya on board as the lead actor. A source told the tabloid that Lakshya showcased his acting skills and flair for action with his first movie, Kill.
"Hansal is also known for putting faith in newer faces and extracting fine performances from them. While he is discussing the film with Lakshya, nothing is confirmed yet," the source added.
Before venturing into films, Lakshya did several television shows. He started his acting career with a show called Warrior High, where he played the role of Parth. Later, he starred in a show titled Adhuri Kahaani Hamari. It was followed by his appearances in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, and Porus.
Up next, Lakshya will reportedly be seen in Aryan Khan's web show, Stardom. Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan is making his directorial debut with the series, which will stream on Netflix.
