The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Haal, have released its teaser today (June 17). The musical romantic drama, which features Shane Nigam and Sakshi Vaidya in the lead roles, is expected to have a theatrical release soon.

The teaser shows Shane Nigam performing a reprised version of ‘Rafta Rafta Woh Meri’ of Ustad Mehdi Hassan. “And the stars aligned to make our love win over the world! Presenting the SOUL OF HAAL,” the actor wrote on his Instagram post. The actor can be seen singing amongst a crowd, which seems to be a college.

All about Haal

Haal is supposedly one of Shane Nigam's highest-priced recent projects. The movie began filming in Kozhikode in the first week of May. The project was slated to have shots in Jordan, Kozhikode, and Mysore. The film's makers intend for it to be a full-fledged family entertainer in theatres, and they have scheduled concurrent releases in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

The movie is being directed by Prasanth Vijayakumar and is being produced by JVJ Productions. The movie is billed as a musical romantic drama, and Nishad Koya wrote the script. Among his popular works are Shikari Sambhu, Ordinary, Madhura Naranga, and Thoppil Joppan.

Shane shared the poster on Instagram and wrote, "Get ready for a romantic entertainer that will make you fall in love, all over again!" To his fans' delight, he has also stated that further updates will be released shortly.

Renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, who has achieved success with hits like "Aadat," "Woh Lamhe," "Pehli Nazar Mein," and "Tera Hone Laga Hoon," is about to debut in Malayalam with Shane Nigam's Haal.
