Netflix dropped the official trailer of the highly awaited kdrama, featuring the charismatic leads, Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee. The streaming platform shared the dangerous and secret world of ancient Korea in a new trailer on 7 December. Here’s everything you need to know about Jung Dong-Yoon-directed thriller series.

In the nearly 2-minute trailer, we witness the secrets lurking in the 1940s ancient Seoul, called Gyeongseong. It’s year 1945 and Gyeongseong is ruled by a colonial government. The period drama narrates a thrilling tale of an apocalyptic town, where creatures and humans are battling to survive and capture.

“Behold, the powers of destiny. Beware, the powers of karma,” the text in the trailer hints at the twisted fate and karma.

Written by Dr. Romantic fame Kang Eun-Kyung, Gyeongseong Creature revolves around mysterious disappearances and multiple deaths in a hidden basement of Ongseong Hospital. The two protagonists embark on this life-and-death journey to save their town. Will they succeed or get drowned in the mystery?
