Gyaarah Gyaarah: Kritika Kamra aka Vamika talks about life of a 'cold case unit' member | Watch

Umesh Bisht's web series Gyaarah Gyaarah has garnered good feedback since its digital release on ZEE5. Starring Raghav Juyal, Kritika Kamra, and Dhairya Karwa in the lead roles, the web series premiered on August 9 on the streaming platform. It is a time-bending series that is set across three decades: 1990, 2001, and 2016. In this series, Kritika plays the role of a police officer, DSP Vamika Rawat. The latest promo sheds more light on her character.

ZEE5 shared a promo of Gyaarah Gyaarah on Instagram. The promo features Kritika Kamra as DSP Vamika Rawat. Talking about the life of a 'cold case unit' member, she says, "Iss duty mein din-raat ka pata hi nahi chalta. You have to face situations head-on." Kritika aka Vamika further mentions that there's more commitment required than just solving murder cases. 

Towards the end of the promo, she states, "This is the life of a cold case unit member. I am Vamika Rawat. Watch me and my team solve murder cases in Gyaarah Gyaarah". Sharing this promo on IG, the makers penned, "There’s nothing more beautiful and fierce than Vardi-wali Vamika (sic)."

Kritika Kamra on working in Gyaarah Gyaarah

Sharing her experience of working in Gyaarah Gyaarah as a cop, Kritika told Firstpost, "Playing a woman in uniform requires you to have a certain body language and a certain command. We all were trained in action, I learned how to drive a manual SUV." The actress recalled shooting in -2 degrees amid heavy rainfall. Despite that, the actress enjoyed this experience as she got to explore a range of emotions.
