Gyaarah Gyaarah: From rookie officer to a formidable force, Kritika Kamra's journey as Vamika inspires us | Watch new promo

Raghav Juyal and Kritika Kamra starrer Gyaarah Gyaarah continue to receive love from fans. Umesh Bist's series Gyaarah Gyaarah is currently streaming on ZEE5. You can also watch it with your OTTPlay Premium subscription. Days after the release, the makers shared a new promo featuring Kritika who played the role of a police cop, Vamika.

On September 24, a while ago, ZEE5 took to their Instagram handle and dropped a new promo of Gyaarah Gyaarah. The clip features Kritika Kamra as Vamika Rawat. She played a police cop in the series. The new promo shows how Vamika never gave up on her journey from a naive officer to a fearless and formidable force. 

Sharing the clip, the streaming platform captioned it, "Vamika’s journey is unforgettable. From a rookie officer to a formidable force, she is truly the unit’s heart! #GyaarahGyaarah streaming now, only on #ZEE5."

Kritika Kamra on her character in Gyaarah Gyaarah

Earlier, in an interview with IANS, Kritika said she was drawn to play an upright cop after playing morally dubious gangster-like characters. "Equally important to me was the opportunity to learn from talented individuals. The intriguing walkie-talkie moment in the script captivated me. It was the combination of these factors that attracted me to this role," she added.

On the other hand, another lead actor, Raghav Juyal, who played the role of Yug Arya in the ZEE5 series Gyaarah Gyaarah, told India Today that his character has so many past traumas.

"He is so wounded by his traumas. He is guilt-driven, vulnerable, and sensitive. He questions the functioning of the cop system. Until now, we have only seen tough cops or honest cops, but he is vulnerable and sensitive," the actor added. 

Written by Sunjoy Shekhar and Puja Banerjee, Gyaarah Gyaarah is directed by Umesh Bist. The show stars Raghav, Kritika, and Dhairya Karwa in the lead roles. Gautami Kapoor, Gaurav Sharma, Harsh Chhaya, Mukti Mohan, and Purnendu Bhattacharya also have prominent roles in the series.

The thriller show is produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga Kapoor, Apoorva Mehta, and Achin Jain under Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment.
