Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil runtime and censor details revealed; Prithviraj's film to have a massive global release

Prithviraj Sukumaran is joining hands with Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey duo Basil Joseph and director Vipin Das, for his next outing Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. The highly anticipated project, which is touted to be a complete comedy entertainer, revolves around a wedding and the two families involved in it. The cast and crew members of the much-awaited film are now busy with the promotions. Meanwhile, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, which is slated to be released on May 16, 2024, has completed its censor formalities.

As per the recent reports, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil has now successfully completed its censor formalities. The movie, which is now gearing up for its grand trailer launch event, has bagged a clean U certificate from the censor board with zero cuts. The sources close to the Prithviraj Sukumaran-Basil Joseph starrer have also confirmed that the comedy entertainer has a runtime of 2 hours and 15 minutes. As per the recent updates, the Vipin Das directorial is a light-hearted film, and is now gearing up for a massive global release.

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s negative role

The multi-faceted talent, who is best known for his versatility, is set to play yet another unique character that has some negative shades, in Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. Even though Prithviraj Sukumaran’s character Anand has negative shades, the actor is not playing a full-fledged villain in the film. Basil Joseph, on the other hand, is playing the role of Vinu Ramachandran, who is the prospective groom of Anand’s younger sister Anjali, in the movie.

Anaswara Rajan, the Neru fame actress is appearing in the role of Anjali in the movie. Nikhila Vimal, on the other hand, is playing the role of Anand’s wife. As per the reports, Prithviraj was initially approached to play the role of Vinu in the film, while another actor was supposed to play Anand. However, the initial casting plans did not work out, and the Aadujeevitham actor decided to take up the role of Anand, while Basil Joseph came on board to play the role of Vinu.
