Gurudev Hoysala trailer: Daali Dhananjaya is bold and fearless as the supercop

Daali Dhananjaya is evidently a man on a mission as the titular character in Gurudev Hoysala. The upcoming action drama has the talented actor playing the role of an upright police officer who uses all his might to fight against evil. The first trailer of the film, which released on Monday, March 20th, highlights his many daring escapades and the lengths he goes to in order to restore peace and order in the city of Belagavi.

Gurudev Hoysala, the film, also boasts equally menacing antagonists played by Avinash B.S. of KGF 2 fame, Naveen Shankar (Gultoo) and Prathap Narayan (Onthara Bannagalu). The trailer reveals a stiff clash between Dhananjaya's cop character and the aforementioned trio and the crux of the story, it would seem, lies in this dynamic.

Avinash B.S. plays the role of Daada in the film, a character for whom attributes like prestige and pride are of huge significance with Naveen Shankar, as Bali, and Prathap Narayan, as Naana, most likely featuring as his sons in the story.

The exciting cast of Gurudev Hoysala also includes Amrutha Iyengar, Achyuth Kumar, Anirudh Bhat and others.

Although the film is said to be inspired by several true incidents, the makers have accentuated it with some riveting action and a narrative that is seemingly larger-than-life. Dhananjaya, as the modern-say Sangliyana, has several action sequences to his name and fans seem quite keen at the moment to see him land a few lusty blows.

Gurudev Hoysala has been directed by Vijay N with Yogi G Raj and Karthik Gowda of KRG Studios producing the film. Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films presents the film in theatres.

B Ajaneesh Loknath has scored the music with Karthik S. and Deepu S. Kumar handling cinematography and editing respectively. Gurudev Hoysala will release in theatres on March 30th and will clash with the Nani starrer Dasara at the box office.
