Guntur Kaaram, which faced multiple shoot delays through the year, is wrapping its shoot at a breathtaking pace to release on time - January 12, 2024, as announced by the production house Haarika and Hassine Creations across multiple occasions. S Thaman scores the music for the film. After a fantabulous response to the massy, fast-paced first single Dum Masala, the makers are gearing up to launch the second song this week. The promo of the song titled Oh My Baby was unveiled today. The track - featuring Mahesh and Sreeleela - is crooned by Besharam Rang singer Shilpa Rao while Ramajogaiah Sastry is the lyricist.

After a pleasant, breezy start to the song, Mahesh Babu, addressing Sreeleela, utters a dialogue - ‘Ammo..Ravanakadu..Gurthettuko..Gunturosthe Panikosthadi’ while the uninterested female lead, donning a green sari, is reluctant to give an answer. Shilpa Rao’s voice lends a unique texture to the song. The full song will be out on December 13. A new poster also showcases Mahesh and Sreeleela in flamboyant avatars.

The film is Trivikram’s third collaboration with Mahesh Babu after two critically acclaimed entertainers - Athadu and Khaleja, which continue to draw applause even today. The expectations surrounding Guntur Kaaram are naturally high and the team says the film will showcase Mahesh in a raw, rustic avatar. Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna are also part of the cast.

It has been over one and half years since Mahesh Babu has had a theatrical release. After Guntur Kaaram, the star will prep for SS Rajamouli’s action adventure - tentatively titled SSMB29 - written by the latter’s father Vijayendra Prasad. Sreeleela already had four releases in 2023 - Aadikeshava, Skanda, Bhagavanth Kesari and Extra Ordinary Man. Trivikram will direct Allu Arjun in a film after Guntur Kaaram.
