Popular singer Sanjith Hegde has crooned for the intro song of Mahesh Babu in the film while Ramajogaiah Sastry is the lyricist. The number has all the makings of a chartbuster, going by the promo. The chorus group builds the momentum for the song well and Sanjith’s energetic rendition has just the right enthusiasm one expects from a massy introduction number in a star vehicle.

‘Edurocche Gaali..Egaresthunna Chookka Pai Gundi..Egabadi…Mundarake.. Velipothadhi Nenekkina Bandi..,” the opening lines of the song are promising, showcasing Ramajogaiah’s ease with mass numbers. The full version of the song will be out on November 7. The promo does well to silence many odds who were not happy with Thaman’s presence for Guntur Kaaram.

Sunil, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram play other important roles in the film. Manoj Paramahamsa cranks the camera for the project (he replaces PS Vinod). Navin Nooli is the editor and AS Prakash is the art director. Mamatha is the presenter. Pooja Hegde was one of the female leads in the film, while she opted out of the project owing to creative differences with the makers.

The producers of Guntur Kaaram have a slew of releases in the coming months - including the Panja Vaisshnav Tej, Sreeleela starrer Aadikeshava, Vishwak Sen’s Gangs of Godavari and Siddu Jonnalagadda’s Tillu Square, the sequel to the hit crime comedy (DJ Tillu). They tasted a surprise hit with the October 6 release - MAD, a campus comedy starring newcomers, now streaming on Netflix.
