Guntur Kaaram: This young heroine to replace Pooja Hegde in Mahesh Babu, Trivikram's action drama- Exclusive

Mahesh Babu is one of the top stars in the country and is now doing Guntur Kaaram in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. The film has made headlines for all the wrong reasons as news came out that music composer Thaman and the film's female lead, Pooja Hegde have been ousted from the film, disappointing a lot of fans.

We at OTTplay have reported exclusively that Thaman has been retained thanks to the pressure put by Trivikram on the makers. But Pooja Hegde is out of the project as she was not satisfied with the role she was offered in the newly edited final script. This change made Sreeleela the main lead in the film and now Pooja's place in the film needs to be filled.

We have exclusively learned that young heroine Meenakshi Chaudhary is in talks to play one of the leads. Meenakshi impressed everyone with her performance in Adivi Sesh's HIT 2 which was a box office success. So, Mahesh and Trivikram felt that she would be an apt choice to play the second lead in the film and have initiated talks with her. Very soon a decision will be made in this regard.

Meenakshi is a relatively new face in Telugu cinema and if she bags this film, her career will change big time. A new schedule of the film will start next week and the makers will shoot non stop. Mahesh Babu is very happy with the changes that Trivikram has made to the film as per his suggestions. On the other hand, there was also news that Netflix has joined hands with Mahesh Babu for an action drama but the rumor died down eventually as the team slammed the news.

Once Guntur Kaaram is done, Mahesh Babu wll start his new film with Rajamouli which will mostly go on the floors in the next year or so. Everyone is eager to know what kind of role will Mahesh Babu be seen in the film. For now, Mahesh is gearing up for a massive schedule of Guntur Kaaram as he wants to wrap up the film as soon as possible.
