Guntur Kaaram - Meenakshii Chaudhary pampers Mahesh Babu in a new poster, netizens call them a ‘perfect pair’

Guntur Kaaram, after undergoing multiple delays, finally wrapped its shoot last weekend, post which Mahesh Babu ushered in 2024 with his family in Dubai. The film marks the third collaboration between Mahesh and director Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja. Produced by S Radha Krishna under Haarika and Hassine Creations, the film has two female leads - Sreeleela and Meenakshii Chaudhary.

While Sreeleela was the mainstay of the promos launched by team Guntur Kaaram to date, the first look of Meenakshii as Raji alongside Mahesh was out today. Donning a half-sari, the actress is pampering Mahesh Babu in the poster, which confirms Guntur Kaaram is eight days away from release (on January 12). Two good-looking faces in the poster is certainly a sight for sore eyes.

Mahesh Babu fans are delighted with the poster, with a flurry of comments praising Meenakshii’s charm and a few naming the duo as a perfect on-screen pair. For the unversed, Sreeleela was to play Meenakshii’s role in the film. However, when Pooja Hegde stepped out of the project, Sreeleela was named the primary lead and Meenakshii took her place.

The makers insist that the film is ultimately a family entertainer with a perfect dose of action, emotions, humour, good music and romance. Earlier this week, the production house confirmed that the pre-release event would be held on January 6 and the trailer would be out on the same day. Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical digital rights of the entertainer.

The bookings for Guntur Kaaram have already opened at several overseas locations and the brand value of the Mahesh Babu, Trivikram combo is expected to work big time in the US. Jayaram, Ramya Krishna, Sunil essay other important roles in the film which has cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and is edited by Navin Nooli. S Thaman scores the music.
