Guntur Kaaram: Mahesh Babu unleashes his massy side in a new poster

The famous actor-director combo - Mahesh Babu and Trivikram - is coming together again for an action entertainer after nearly a decade and a half. Widely celebrated for their films Athadu and Khaleja earlier, they’re returning for an out and out masala film titled Guntur Kaaram. S Radha Krishna is bankrolling the film under Haarika and Hassine Creations.

Sreeleela and Meenakshii Chaudhary play the female leads in this prestigious film whose cast comprises Ramya Krishna, Jayaram. The makers plan to release the film for 2024 Sankranthi (on January 12). Thaman, who scored the music for Trivikram’s recent projects like Bheemla Nayak, Bro, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, continues his association with the filmmaker for Guntur Kaaram.

Commemorating Mahesh Babu’s birthday, a poster where the star dons a lungi and smokes a cigarette was unveiled by makers at 12 am. Offering another surprise for film lovers, the production house has launched yet another new poster of the star. Besides a red towel wrapped around his forehead, Mahesh Babu wears red shirt paired with denims in the middle of an action sequence.

“Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our highly Inflammable Super Star @urstrulyMahesh garu. #HBDSuperstarMaheshBabu,” the makers wrote while sharing the poster. Mahesh Babu looks at his massy best in this new avatar that promises to be a feast for action junkies. Not but two images of Mahesh Babu from the film were launched today and his fans couldn’t have asked for more.

Guntur Kaaram has a top-notch technical team comprising cinematographer PS Vinod, editor Navin Nooli, art director AS Prakash as well. Mahesh Babu is currently holidaying with his family as part of his birthday trip and will join the new schedule of the entertainer shortly. The star will commence shooting for SS Rajamouli’s action adventure in the first quarter of 2024.
