Gullak season 4 is scheduled for its OTT release soon. The series has been a favourite of each family for three seasons now, and the same is being promised with season 4. This time around, Aman is growing up. While he is in his adulting phase, Santosh and Shanti Mishra get back to their parenting phase. However, the latest promo by makers promises the family will be nothing but entertaining.
The adulting
Aman has hit puberty. He is getting a stubble now and has to shave. This youngling has newer life experiences. He has not stopped thinking about a girl after talking to her, and discusses the same with his chaddi-buddy.
The parenting
Seeing how he has hit adulting, Santosh and Shanti Mishra step back into the parenting. Shanti, especially, tries talking to Santosh about how their little boy is now growing up and needs to get the good parenting. Like most “concerned” Indian parents, she hints that Aman does what is considered sinful, when taking a bath. “Aaj kal bahut der tak nahaata hai tumhaara chota ladka,” she says. The mother is scared that they will end up losing respect in the society, and warns Santosh about the same, when he tries stating that they are open-minded.
The one sure thing – Entertaining
The trailer of the show had ended with Shanti joking that the half rod is for Santosh who will use it instead of blades, in order to become a human helicopter. Jameel Khan’s expressions, on the joke, are worth noting and promise that the show will be more than just the fight between Adulting and Parenting.
About Gullak 4
Also starring Vaibhav Raj Gupta as the elder son, Annu, the show sees the family turn against Aman. Annu was also seen warning Aman to not close the door to his room. Like in most Indian families, Aman finds no privacy while growing up and as one can expect, he gets frustrated with that.
Gullak S4 is scheduled to release on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. The show will be out on June 7.
