Hansika Motwani, who has been signing women-centric films lately, is all set to shine in the upcoming horror drama titled Guardian. The makers of the film took to their social media handles to announce that the film will be released theatrically on March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day. Helmed by director duo Sabari and Guru Saravanan, the movie will feature Suresh Menon, Sriman, Rajendran, Pradeep Rayan, and Tiger Garden Thangadurai in supporting roles.
The new announcement poster features a hand rising eerily from a heap of skulls. The new poster has piqued the interest of Tamil fans who have been waiting to see the actress star in a horror flick after Aranmanai 2.

The upcoming horror film is directed by Sabari and Guru Saravanan who made their directorial debut in 2022 with Koogle Kuttappa, which was the official Tamil remake of the Malayalam drama Android Kunjappan Version 5.25.
Going by the teaser, which was released earlier, the movie is set to be a horror drama with Hansika’s character getting possessed by a vengeful spirit. The ghost is seen to be a ‘guardian spirit’ who saves the lead character from danger. More about the film will be unveiled soon when the trailer of the film is dropped.

The makers of the film had recently announced that the film has cleared censorship formalities with a U/A certificate. The trailer of the movie is expected to come out very soon.
Produced by Vijay Chander, the horror flick Guardian has Sam CS scoring the music. The cinematography for the film is handled by KA Shakthivel and editing is carried out by M Thiyagarajan.

Meanwhile, Hansika Motwani’s 2023 revenge thriller, My Name Is Shruthi, is currently streaming on Aha. The film which was directed by Srinivas Omkar, revolves around organ mafia and stars Prema, Murali Sharma, Pooja Ramachandran, Raja Ravindra, Praveen, and Aadukalam Naren in supporting roles.
