In the audio message, Govinda said, "Namaskar, pranaam, main hoon Govinda. Aap sab logon ka aashirwaad, maa-baap ka aashirwaad, aur guru ki kripa ki wajah se, goli lagi thi par woh nikaal di gayi hai. Main dhanyawaad deta hoon yahan ke doctor ko aur aap sab logon ki prarthana ke liye. Aap sabka dhanyawaad." (Translation: "Namaste, I am Govinda. Thanks to your blessings, my parents' blessings, and the grace of my teachers, the bullet has been removed. I want to thank the doctors for their prompt treatment and all of you for your prayers. Thank you all.")

Govinda is Out of Danger

Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, shared an update with ANI earlier today, confirming that the actor is safe. The statement from the manager read: "Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was putting his licensed revolver in its case when it fell from his hand, and a bullet was fired, hitting his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet, and his condition is stable. He is in the hospital right now."
