Good Night on Hotstar: Manikandan comes up with a short promo video ahead of the film's OTT premiere

Vinayak Chandrasekaran's Good Night was one of the surprise hits in Tamil cinema this year. The film evoked interest among cinephiles ever since its promo videos were revealed. Manikandan plays the lead in the movie which has Meetha Raghunath essaying the female lead.

It revolves around a youngster who suffers from a snoring problem. All hell breaks loose after he gets married to his lady love. How his personal issue affects his married life and professional life forms the rest of the story. 

The screenplay of the movie along with the performances of the lead actors garnered praise from several quarters. Bucks and Balaji Shakthivel among others played notable roles in the project which has been bankrolled by Nazerath Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian and Yuvaraj Ganesan.

Jayanth Sethu Mathavan and Barath Vikraman have handled cinematography and editing respectively for Good Night which has music composed by Sean Roldan. Srikanth Gopal has helmed art direction while Mohan Rajan has penned lyrics for the movie. One of the reasons behind the project attracting film enthusiasts is the relatable emotions and chemistry between actors. Its makers celebrated the 50th day event recently, something which is a rarity these days.

The team announced recently that Good Night will have its digital premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on July 3. The platform has come up with a video featuring an excited Manikandan who is happy to narrate reasons to watch the film.

However, he soon realizes that saying anything about the movie would give away major spoilers. Hence, he requested the audience to wait for two more days to watch the movie on Hotstar.
