Ajith Kumar is all set to make a comeback to the big screens, with back-to-back releases. The popular Tamil star recently wrapped up the filming of Vidaamuyarchi, the upcoming Magizh Thirumeni directorial. As reported earlier, Ajith is currently busy with the filming of Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, in Spain. Earlier, it was confirmed that Good Bad Ugly will hit the theatres for Pongal 2025. However the recent updates suggest that the project might get pushed.
Good Bad Ugly pushed to summer 2025?
If the recent updates are to be believed, the release of Good Bad Ugly is being pushed to the summer of 2025, due to the delay in the release of Vidaamuyarchi. According to the grapevine, Ajith Kumar is not keen to have two back-to-back releases with no gap in between. As reported earlier, the Magizh Thirumeni directorial’s release has been put on hold due to various technical reasons. The movie will hit the theatres only by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025.
Considering the same, the makers of Good Bad Ugly have decided to cancel the Pongal 2025 release plans and push the film to the summer season of 2025. If Vidaamuyarchi manages to hit the theatres by January 2025, Good Bad Ugly will hit the theatres after a gap of at least three months, mostly in April 2025. The new update has left Ajith Kumar fans and Tamil cinema enthusiasts highly disappointed.
Good Bad Ugly shoot update
As reported earlier, the Good Bad Ugly team is busy with the new schedule of the project in Spain. Later, the cast and crew are planning to move to Bulgaria, for a brief schedule. If the reports are to be believed, the final schedule filming of Ajith Kumar's film will begin in Chennai, by the first week of December 2024. The entire shooting is expected to be wrapped up, by the year end. More updates on the same are expected to be out very soon.
