While Rohit Shetty is busy shaping Singham Returns, has a successful digital debut in his recent filmography, Indian Police Force, and is attached to many projects that are similar in nature, there will perhaps never be a point where fans will stop asking him to go back to the time when he was busy redefining the comedy genre in Hindi cinema. Rohit Shetty will always be the man who gave us one of the most hilarious movie franchises in Indian cinema with Golmaal. While the franchise has seen 4 films released, there is now a demand for the fifth one, and rightly so. Shreyas Talpade, who plays a pivotal part in the same, has now reacted about when Golmaal 5 might be released.

Golmaal 5 Update

Shreyas Talpade, who has been in the news for a while now, has spoken about when to expect Golmaal 5. The actor spoke to News18, where he revealed that the plan to work on the fifth part of the installment took place right before the COVID-19 pandemic took over and brought everything to a standstill. The actor has now confirmed that Shetty and Ajay Devgn are indeed working on the next installment and that they will churn it out most likely by Diwali 2025. The confirmation is enough for fans to go crazy and be excited for what is to come as the gang reunites to give us another Golmaal.

“Just before the pandemic, Rohit and Ajay bhai had announced that we would soon be shooting for Golmaal 5. Unfortunately, the pandemic happened and everything went for a toss. Recently, he made a statement that we will be doing Golmaal 5. I’m hoping that we do it next year and next Diwali is when we get to see Golmaal 5,” Shreyas Talpade said.

“Golmaal is very close to our hearts. Especially after the last Golmaal, we missed it when it was over. It was so much fun on the sets that we couldn’t face each other and say our lines because we would burst out laughing. Golmaal is very, very special for all of us and we are waiting for it,” Shreyas added.
