Taapsee Pannu is all set to be seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani's next flick Dunki. The actor has always stated how much she admires SRK as well as how enthusiastic she is about the project.
In a recent interview with PTI, the Pink actor expressed her delight over sharing screen space alongside Shah Rukh as a "golden opportunity."
She added, "When you end up getting the opportunity to work with him, it becomes a golden opportunity and when combined with the fact that it is going to be directed by Rajkumar Hirani, whose films are classics, it doesn’t get better. I don’t know how I will ever make it."

The Shabaash Mithu actor went on to say how she connects to Shah Rukh since she is also from Delhi. She never misses the opportunity to apprise him that "he is someone who we consider very personal." Taapsee also mentioned how she sensed his struggle personally well before knowing him.
She went on to say that the transition from appearing in one of his production house's (Red Chillies Entertainment) films, Badla, with Amitabh Bachchan and Amrita Singh, to now collaborating with him as a co-star is a huge step for her.
Dunki's social comedy would address the matter of undocumented immigrants from India to nations such as Canada and the United States using backdoor methods known as "donkey flights."
In addition to Shah Rukh and Taapsee, Boman Irani plays an important role in the film. Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films are producing the film, which is set to be released on December 22, 2023.
Currently, Taapsee is gearing up for the release of Shabaash Mithu, which is a biopic on cricket legend Mithali Raj. The film is directed by Srijit Mukerji and is set to hit the big screens in July this year.
