BTS, initially the biggest K-pop group in the world, has now become the biggest group globally, dominating music charts across countries, including major markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. Currently, the group is on a temporary hiatus due to members fulfilling their mandatory military service in South Korea. During this break, each member is actively pursuing their solo careers before they eventually reunite as a group. Notably, these talented singers and rappers are making a significant impact as solo artists in music markets worldwide.

Jeon Jungkook, the group's lead vocalist, recently ventured into the world of solo music, releasing his debut solo song titled "SEVEN" featuring Latto. The track garnered widespread attention and acclaim across various music platforms, with Spotify being a notable highlight. It quickly set a series of records on the platform.

On October 30, "SEVEN" achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the fastest song in Spotify's history to reach 1 billion streams. In doing so, it surpassed the previous record held by Miley Cyrus' "Flowers." The "Golden maknae" of BTS managed to accumulate 1 billion streams in just 108 days, while Cyrus' single reached the same milestone in 112 days. This accomplishment adds to Jungkook's list of impressive achievements, as earlier this year, he broke the record for the longest-running No. 1 hit by an Asian artist on the Billboard chart with a single from his upcoming solo debut album titled "GOLDEN."

Moreover, BTS's devoted fan base, known as ARMY, played a significant role in maintaining "SEVEN" at the top position on Global Spotify, re-peaking the song to the No. 1 spot and getting it to chart for 68 consecutive days in the No. 1 position.

This achievement is even more remarkable considering the stiff competition from numerous other artists and their recent album and song releases. For instance, the song managed to hold its position despite new releases from artists like Bad Bunny with "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana" and Taylor Swift with "1989 Taylor's Version." Jungkook's success as a solo artist reflects the growing global appeal of BTS and its members beyond the K-pop genre.
