Godzilla x Kong Twitter review – 'A promising theatrical watch', say excited fans

The latest monster movie, Godzilla x Kong - The New Empire, has had fans excited ever since it was announced. The epic monster movie was released in theatres today and it seems to be a hit! The movie, which is about the alliance of Godzilla and King Kong against a dangerous threat, is getting a good response from audiences.

Several X (formerly Twitter) users are showering love on Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Fans are hailing it for the VFX effects and Godzilla’s epic climax. One user even asked the makers to pay the VFX artists extra, as it was quite impressive.

“Fun monster flick. I hope the VFX artists get paid well for this film, because that was what impressed me the most. A lot of colour,” a social media user wrote.

Amid all the praise, some pointed at the flawed acting of the human characters. However, the monsterverse made up for the loopholes with its smooth execution and thrilling climax.

Another user gave the film a mixed review, saying it was dull at times but entertaining as well.  “Mixed bag. Surprisingly dull and empty at times, over-reliant on exposition, and with a lackluster human story. However, it picks up in the second half; the Kong storyline is good, and the absurd action is entertaining."

Many other fans also expressed their desire to watch the film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire during the weekend.

One Twitterati hailed the movie for its overall action and drama. However,  the user was disheartened due to less screentime for some characters. “This is the kind of movie Warner Bros. needed. Godzilla x Kong is filled with lots of fun action and a lot of heart. I wish some characters had more screen time but it’s still a must-see.”
