BTS member and main vocalist, Jungkook, is set to grace the stage at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival in New York City's Central Park on September 23. Joining him in the lineup this year are Stray Kids' 3RACHA, Megan Thee Stallion, Conan Gray, D-Nice, and Sofia Carson.

The event will also feature several international advocates and a host of celebrity guests, including Bill Nye, Bridget Moynahan, Busy Philipps, Carmelo Anthony, Common, Connie Britton, Danai Gurira, Gayle King, Jordan Fisher, Lewis Pugh, Padma Lakshmi, Phoebe Gates, Rachel Brosnahan, and Sophia Bush.

For those unable to attend the event in person, the Global Citizen Festival 2023 will be live-streamed, with an expected crowd of over 60,000 people in attendance.

Where can fans in India watch the Global Citizen Festival 2023?

Indian fans eager to watch the festival can do so through the Global Citizen app, which is dedicated to supporting social causes. The live stream on the app will commence at 4 PM EST on Saturday, translating to 1:30 AM IST on Sunday, September 24. Additionally, fans can catch the festival on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Amazon Prime Video.

K-pop idols to perform:

Jungkook, during rehearsals in preparation for the stage, was seen practising some of his and BTS's most iconic tracks, including "Seven (Explicit version)," "Euphoria," "Still With You," "Butter," "Dynamite," and "Permission to Dance."

Jungkook expressed his excitement about headlining the festival, emphasizing the event's focus on critical causes and its ability to inspire action.

"I'm so thrilled to join this year's Global Citizen Festival as a headliner!" Jungkook said. "The festival sheds light on important causes and drives action and I'm happy to take part in it. I can't wait to perform in front of many people at the Great Lawn in Central Park."

As for Stray Kids, they were originally slated to perform as a complete group, but now only 3RACHA — comprising Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han — will take the stage as a trio. This change comes in the wake of members Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin cancelling their upcoming commitments after facing a minor car accident.

On September 21, JYP Entertainment reported that while none of the vehicle's occupants suffered serious injuries, they did experience mild muscle discomfort and minor bruising, with medical professionals advising conservative treatment for the time being.
